Under the Sea

This week in the infant classroom the theme is under the sea! The group enjoyed quite a bit this week but here are a few of our favorite moments and activities. The entire group enjoyed exploring water animal puppets! We told stories and sang songs while using the crab, seahorse, and dolphin puppets! The older infants enjoyed exploring music mats by practicing standing on flat feet with teacher help and stomping to make noises, where the younger infants enjoyed exploring the feeling, color, and patterns of the music mat. The group also enjoyed exploring clear sensory and soft aquarium tanks with different noisy toys inside. We also practiced reaching for floating balls in a sensory bin of water! It has been a great week, but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time!
