We started off the week welcoming new friends and saying see ya later to old friends. Monday in art the children painted with koosh rings and in language they matched letters to letters on poster board. In math the children sorted colored bear counters. Tuesday in art the children painted with paintbrushes and in language they matched magnet letters to their name. In math the children sorted people counters by size. Wednesday in art the children glued apple cut outs to paper and in language they dictated what their favorite part of school is. In math the children strung apple jacks to string. Today in art the children explored finger painting and in language they traced their names with bingo chips. In math this afternoon the children will look for hidden shapes around the room. Tomorrow in art the children will paint with stamps and in language they will practice writing words for the word wall. In math the children will engage in a path game to get the bus to the school. In the sensory table this week the children worked with pitchers and cups to practice their pouring skills.
