This week’s theme was transportation. For language this week, we used bingo daubers on T cut outs, colored on road signs, colored with markers on paper trucks, and colored on our driver licenses. In cognitive development this week, we counted cars, parked our cars in taped parking spots, sorted vehicles by color, and experimented to see if we could sink a boat. In motor development this week, we manipulated vehicle counters, traced shape roads, manipulated easter egg trucks and cars, and played with play-doh and vehicles. In art this week, we painted with cars, stamped boats and planes in paint, and made our own road signs. Tomorrow we will draw on license plates for language development, sort pom poms for cognitive development, manipulate puzzles for motor development, and glue red, green, and yellow lights onto traffic lights in art.
