Mom

When we think of someone who is nurturing, compassionate and loving….we think of MOM! That’s right, this week was all about mom and how amazing she is. We took some time to talk about why we love our moms and what mom’s favorite things are. Of course one thing that the children were asked was what is mom’s favorite food. A majority of the answers…salad! This week at the language table we worked on an All About Mom questionnaire, beginning sounds and letter recognition. At the math table we worked on number recognition activities and counting how many letters our moms have in their name. The children were caring and nurturing just like mom at the sensory bin by giving the babies from drama a bath. The children worked hard this week creating Mother’s Day Gifts but please…don’t open them until Sunday!  We worked on our fine motor skills this by beading on a pipe cleaner. We will end this week with Miss Mel and our music class. We hope that all you wonderful mothers have an amazing day on Sunday!
