Thursday- Picture Day
We introduced the theme with pictures, print, fireman song, and various pictures on the word wall board of Community Helpers.
Art
Police car, Fire Ha-glued badge on,, Baker- donuts frosted and added sprinkles and Doctor bag-glued band aids and gauze
Math
Color stick bears with color band aids to match, fireman hats/trucks/dogs to match same cards, various size donut rings to stack according to size by fitting them on the pegs and colored mini connecting blocks to make patterns by color, Friday- children’s choice
Motor Development
Road pattern on table the table to follow the road with cars, fire stacking cups to practice balance/eye-hand coordination, flipping cookies with small spatula’s onto cookie sheet with one hand to balance and use flipping motion with hand/fingers, practice toothbrushing with blocks and tooth brushes.
