This week’s theme was winter! In language development, we stacked alphabet blocks, used magnet boards, colored mittens, and learned about winter clothes. In cognitive development, we connected shapes, matched penguins by color, melted a baking soda snowman, and matched people to their houses. In motor development, we sorted cotton balls in sorting trays, pressed cookie cutters in snow dough, built a snowman with blocks, and drove cars over wood tiles. In art, we stamped on hot chocolate mugs, painted a snowman, and decorated paper gingerbread cookies. Tomorrow we will draw on boogie boards, sort a rainbow caterpillar, connect magnet tiles, and paint with frozen cubes of paint.
Winter Fun!
