Fun with the Rainforest

This week’s theme is Rainforest/Jungle! In language and literacy, we played with boogie boards, used alphabet clips to match up animals, and learned  animal vocab cards. In math, we sorted Mickey Mouse Clubhouse characters, counted sloths, and sorted animals by size. In motor, we played with bubbles on the patio, connected animal connectors, and did jungle animal yoga. In art, we used rollers to make snakes, used brushes to make flowers, painted stripes on tigers, and colored banana cutouts with q-tips. Tomorrow, we will play with felt boards, play with chalk on the patio, have a Rainforest Sensory Exploration, and make lions with bingo daubers!
