Oh, What Fun with Theme Week!

Theme week was in full effect! We started off the week with some crazy hair!! We had different hairstyles from multiple ponytails to red, blue, purple and green hair. The children worked on sorting and patterning with hair ties and worked on ABC letter match. On Tuesday we had Tie Dye day! We rocked our favorite Tie Dye shirts and created a marble painting. We watched some fun videos on how to make different Tie Dyes. On Wednesday we were all Super heroes!! The children rocked their best shirts and capes. They worked on writing words at language and comparing towers at the math table. Thursday we celebrated Book Character day! The children worked on creating their own stories using the Story Box and worked on number recognition with the magnetic numbers. At art, the children designed their own book cover. We ended this fun filled week with our favorite thing ever….PAJAMAS!!! That is a great way to end a week! The children worked on beginning sounds by giving a word for each letter of Pajama and number matching at the math table. We hope the children enjoyed theme week as much as their teachers!!
