We introduced this weeks theme with books, songs “A Camping We will Go”, word wall with pictures and print and various activities related to the theme. On Friday, we will make S’mores.

Tuesday- campfire stamping w/ sponges
Wednesday- star cookie cutter stamping
Thursday- Binoculars- painted and decorated paper to roll
Friday- Lanterns- stuff with orange/red/yellow tissue paper
Math
Coloring matching with colored bowls and small animal counters to practice counting, matching and patterns, marshmallow counting with fire buckets and tongs, colored chips with same color paper for matching and counting the coins, and make S’mores.
Motor Development
Linking logs to manipulate the pieces to make own creation, magnet fishing with poles and fish to hook the fish using eye-hand coordination, rings and cones to stack and count from the bottom to the top and top to the bottom, and veggie soup with bowls, scoops and veggies to practice scooping and mixing.
