Assistant Teacher Positions
Full Time Older Toddler Teacher (9 am – 5:30 pm)
Part Time Pre-K Teacher (3:00 pm – 6:00 pm)
Part Time Pre-School Teacher (7:00 am – 11:am)
Substitutes – varying times
Qualifications
Full-time and Part-time Roles Must Have:
- Child Development Associate credential (CDA), an associate’s degree in a related field, or be actively enrolled in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program in education
- Current certification in Recognition and Prevention of Communicable Diseases, Child Abuse Prevention, First Aid, and Infant/Child CPR
- A minimum of 18 hours of Step Up to Quality training is supported annually
As an Assistant Teacher, you will be part of a team that supervises the children and coordinates daily activities and curriculum, including the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Criteria, Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) Requirements and the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards.
