The older infants loved reading different cultural books and talking about diversity and black history! We tried gluing red, yellow and green shapes to paper and talked about how Garrett Morgan invented the traffic light! It was fun to see the infants move glue to paper and then stick shapes to the paper. The group also enjoyed talking about the laminated photos hanging on our play yard wall, and practicing saying “mama” or “dada” or trying to point to familiar body parts like our head or nose. It’s been a wonderful week but we look forward to our new theme of Artists next week. Until next time!
