What a fun week around the world! Monday in language the children dictated how to make spaghetti and in math they worked with their small muscles to add spaghetti noodles to small holes in an oatmeal box. Tuesday in art the children sponge painted, in math they engaged in a flag and shape concentration game and in language the children matched greeting words. Wednesday in art the children went looked through magazines to cut out people and glue. In language the children practiced writing names. Today in art the children explored bubble wrap painting, and of course snapping and popping those bubbles! In math the children engaged in an emotions bingo game and with language the children explored the magnetic letter tray to work on forming letters ton write, and they also tossed bean bags on letters to identify. Tomorrow in art the children will paint with cookie cutters, in language they will look at pictures from around the world and talk about what they see, and in math the children will add pepperoni to pizza and count! This week the children explored oatmeal with beans in the sensory table.
