Posted by [email protected] on February 24, 2022 at 2:05 PM

This week we explored the world of various authors including Ezra Jack Keats, Helen Oxenbury, Stan and Jan Berenstein and Leo Lionni. in art we glued dog cutouts and blue ribbons on paper, finger painted, and painted a mouse cutout. In math and science, we played with magnet numbers and mixed paint in a ziploc bag. To work on our motor development we played with stuffed animals and brushed their fur, we vacation hopped, played with frogs on a log peg boards, and danced to the freeze dance. In language we gave the children paper, crayons and pencils to write, and did the five little monkeys fingerplay. We also played ring around the rosie and explored different numbers and letters in the sensory bin. Tomorrow we will read books by Vera Williams, play with math tiles, march around the classroom and paint with shaving cream.
