All About Easter - Pre-School

Posted by [email protected] on April 14, 2022 at 5:15 PM

This week the children celebrated Easter and all the joy it brings. On Monday, the children painted using cotton balls and made some really cool designs. They also did a dictation where they were asked what they knew about Easter and some of their responses were hilarious. On Tuesday, they practiced letter identification by naming the letters that were hidden under easter eggs. In math, they did an egg discrimination activity where they chose which pattern did not belong in the group. In art, the children had a lot of fun painting with peeps. On Wednesday, in art, they got to paint their own eggs and in math, the children worked on creating and finishing patterns made out of easter eggs. On Thursday, in art, the children created collages from things they found in the scrap bin, and in science, they tested different kinds of eggs (cooked, raw, and toy) to see which one would sink or float in a bucket of water. On Friday they will fill an Easter basket with the letters in their name, participate in a fun Easter egg hunt, and in art, they will paint using fun spring colors.
