This week was all about earth day and recycling. We used bingo daubers on the letter "E" and lined the letter "R" with bottle caps.

In math and science we did a dancing rice experiment with vinegar and baking soda. To work on our motor development we used tongs to pick up popsicle sticks. In art this week we used contact paper and green and blue tissue paper to represent planet earth, we used a plastic bottle to stamp flowers on branches, we painted with green and blue shaving cream, and we decorated milk jug watering cans.

In our sensory bin we added shredded paper and scoops. We also read various books relating to the earth and recycling. Tomorrow we will play with magnet letters, sort the mail, play with waffle blocks, and make an art wall out of recycled material.
