Transportation - Infant

Posted by [email protected] on April 28, 2022 at 4:10 PM

This week in the infant classroom we have had a blast with the transportation theme. Here are a few of our crowd favorites! Wrapping up from our Earth day theme last week, we were able to watch our caterpillars come out of their cocoons! We released six butterflies this week which was fun to see and watch their transformation from start to finish! For our transportation theme, the infants enjoyed singing The Wheels on The Bus together as we practiced sticking tissue paper to a bus drawn on sticky paper! The group also enjoyed tossing bean bags into shapes that were taped to the floor, exploring sensory and transportation books about fire trucks, cars and planes and making marks on paper with teacher help. The older infants also enjoyed practicing putting pipe cleaners into the holes of a plastic strainer. We have had a blast this week but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time!
