It's A Bird, It's A Plane - Young Toddler

Posted by [email protected] on June 2, 2022 at 2:20 PM

It's a bird... It's a plane... It's... Superhero week! This week we learned about what it means to be a superhero! In language and literacy this week, we read books and did some superhero line tracing. In the area of cognition this week, we learned the color red as we drew with red crayons on a red poster board, we blew up balloons by mixing baking soda with vinegar, we worked on puzzles, and we played with and matched different colored triangles. For motor development this week, we threaded beads on laces. We practice our social skills this week by making Captain America's shield mini pizzas (that was a yummy snack!). In art we glued red and blue squares and white stars on paper plates to make Captain America's infamous shield and we used red and blue paint to make Spider-Man handprints. Tomorrow we will use markers to write on "S" papers, count spiders, do superhero yoga, and make superhero cuffs.
