Dr. Seuss Fun - Pre-K

Posted by [email protected] on March 5, 2020 at 1:55 PM

Oh! The places you'll go! And we have gone to many different places this week for Dr. Seuss. We heard the Who's with Horton, tried to save the Truffula trees with the Lorax, and dealt with a Wacky Wednesday! Boy, Dr. Seuss sure knows how to keep us busy. Yesterday, the children measured truffula trees at the math table and even created their own at art. At the language table, the children played Dr. Seuss inspired BINGO. The fun continued today with rhyming words at the language table and working on our fine motor skills with picking up pom poms with tongs. The children also played with Oobleck at the science table so be aware that some of the food coloring which is green may still be on their hands, we told them that it will come off so no worry! The fabulous Coach Charlotte came today and taught the kids all about golf. The children learned to hold the golf club properly with the golf ball in front of them. We would also like to thank all of our friends who brought in and shared their Dr. Seuss book with us, we had a blast reading them! We hope that the children enjoyed Dr. Seuss week as much as we did. We wish all the families a fun and enjoyable weekend!
