Kon'nichiwa! This means hello in Japanese. This week, we went around the world. We learned about different countries such as Japan, Italy, Ireland, and Egypt. The children watched short videos (less than 3 minutes) about each country. We learned new words from different languages. We made flags of Japan, Italy, and Egypt by using different materials such as paint, tissue, paper, glitter, etc. We had so much fun! We made a list of Gg words and learned that another way to count is by using an Abacus! We practiced our fine motor skills using chop sticks to pick up pom poms and we listened to music from different countries. That’s it for now. Until next time... Arrivederci! This means goodbye in Italian.
