Language: We started the week off learning all about Dr. Seuss and the different books he has written. We read Green Eggs and Ham, Wacky Wednesday, Fox in socks and The cat in the Hat. On our word wall we had 1 fish, 2 fish, red fish, blue fish.

Tomorrow we will be doing a Dr. Seuss experiment with cornstarch, water, food coloring for a touch and explore activity.

Motor Development: Red solo cups with rubber bands (expanding rubber bands to put over cup), egg flipping with spatulas and pans, polka dot straws with blue rigatoni noodles that fit on the straws (stringing), green play dough with plates and forks. Tomorrow we will do a health and wellness breakfast cereal puzzle.

Social emotional: Green eggs and ham- children will take turns balancing "green eggs" on spatulas.

Art: Fish bowl with Karo syrup and fish, green eggs and ham on paper plates, wacky painting (clear cups with orange/blue/paint on white paper), paper plate fish painting. Tomorrow we will make a cat in the hat hat with white stripes and red paper.

Sensory bin: Colored rice with different sized solo cups and red fish.
