Hanukkah

This week in the infant classroom, we have explored and talked about Hanukkah quite a bit, but here are our favorites. We welcomed a new friend to our classroom this Monday, and the older infants and teachers have been having a blast showing him different toys, activities and areas of the classroom! The theme this week is Hanukkah, so we have talked about and listened to different songs about the holiday and what it means! The older infants enjoyed exploring pull and go animals with teachers and friends. It was fun to pull the toys backward, count to three and then release them to new friends across the classroom. The group enjoyed mixing food coloring and shaving cream in small baggies, exploring pop up boxes and singing and waving to our familiar friends in the classroom with the “Where oh where is..” song! It has been a wonderful week in the infant classroom, but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time!
