We wish you a Merry Christmas! This week has been a fun filled week of Christmas adventure! This week the children worked on many different skills. At the language table the children worked on beginning sounds, making our Christmas wish list and writing Christmas words. At the math table we worked on making patterns with bows, building a beard for Santa, Christmas cookie math activity, and measuring Christmas things with unifex cubes. We also quizzed the children on how much they know about Christmas. Let’s just say our friends love this holiday by answering the questions correctly. We had many special guests this week as well! Amelia (Olivia’s mom) came in and read The Polar Express, Jessica (Pierce’s mom) decorated cookies with us, and Pops (Jacob’s grandpa) put on a show with puppet Santa. We also like to thank Miss Brenda (the lead teacher of the Older toddlers) for decorating cookies with us as well! We had Polar Express Day!!! We all came in with our comfy cozy pajamas on, watched the Polar Express movie, ate some cookies and drank hot chocolate. A very special guest known as Santa Claus stopped by for a visit as well! The children got to sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. We hope that everyone has a fun, safe and amazing holiday! We also like to thank all of you for allowing us to be part of your lives…you truly have become family!
