This week in the infant classroom the theme is Black History week! We have had a great week but here are a few of our crowd favorites! The group loved talking about colors in the nesting cups we explored. Especially the colors red, yellow and green, which are the traffic light colors invented by Garrett Morgan. The group also tried using jumbo glue sticks to mark on bright paper before trying to stick different colored people cut outs to it! The group also enjoyed exploring a large box by shining mini flashlights inside the box and marking on it with jumbo crayons as well. The younger infants enjoyed doing tummy time facing the play yard mirror with one another and talking about who we saw in the reflection. The group also enjoyed dancing with colorful scarves and practicing clapping and waving! It has been a great week but we look forward to a new week on Monday! Until next time!
