This week’s theme was superheroes. In language development this week, we read various books, colored on “S” papers, manipulated wooden block letters, and colored on paper with crayons. In cognitive development this week, we blew up a balloon using vinegar and baking soda, manipulated puzzles, and matched different colored masks. In motor development this week, we built block towers and then knocked them down, we manipulated play-doh with cookie cutters, and we threaded cheerios onto pipe cleaners. In art this week, we glued read and blue stars onto a plate, painted a mask, and painted toilet paper rolls. Tomorrow we will, write on a poster board with markers in language development, count spiders in cognitive development, do yoga and manipulate waffle blocks in motor development, and glue yarn onto paper in art.
