This week’s theme was shapes and colors! In language development, we read various books, wrote with magnet boards, drew with crayons and paper, and drew with markers on shapes! In cognitive development, we sorted toys by shape and color, stacked waffle blocks, sorted easter eggs, and grew a rainbow! In motor development, we cut playdough with cookie cutters, sorted and separated cupcake shapes, and drove cars over with sensory shapes. In art, we did a fingerpaint rainbow, mixed colors in bags, and painted with stamps. Tomorrow we will draw on construction paper, play with puzzle boards, experiment with primary colors, and do a color and shape hunt!
