Halloween fun in preschool! Monday in language the children engaged in a pumpkin bingo game and in math the children explored a candy corn number matching game.In art the children did some hand print stamping. Tuesday in language the children practiced writing Halloween words and in math they added pumpkins to a pumpkin 1 to 1 grid, and used a die to tell how many to add each turn. In art the children marble painted their treat bags black and white. Wednesday in language th children dictated what they will be for Halloween and in math they got creative putting shapes on pumpkins. In art the children koosh ring painted thei bags with orange, purple and green colors. Thursday, the big day!! This morning the children sang songs and trick or treated throughout the communicty health center. We then walked next door to the Family health center for more trick or treating and one last round of trick or treating to the other classrooms, so many treats!! Ms Judy had some fun Halloween games to play in the great room too! Tomorrow in language the children will sort letters of letters with holes, and letters with no holes. In math the children will engage in a jack o’ lantern concentration activity and in art they will watercolor pumpkins. In the sensory table this week the children explored rice again but with spiders, ice cube trays and cups.
