All week classroom outside

Tuesday is swim day

Monday-Star Fish glued cheerios

Tuesday- Swim day

Wednesday- Whale- painted with blue glitter paint and glued on water spout

Thursday-Sea Horse- glued sand on sea horse

Friday- Crab- Paint bowl/paper plate red and glue on claw and eyes

Math

During activity time, the children practiced counting, matching, patterning, naming colors and pairing materials and objects. small colored animal counters with bowls and tongs to name sea animals and pair by the same colors, magnet shoe horse wands and rings to make connections by 2 rings or more, sea animal memory matching- teacher asked each child to find the sea animal card she was holding up, and gold fish counting with bowls to practice one-to one.

Motor Development

Fish bowl sticker activity, peel all the stickers and place on the fish bowl to make own under the sea creation, Hoop hop, the children practiced and took turns hopping through hoops in and out, decorate fish by placing eyes,, goofy glasses, seaweed, jelly fish etc… to make under the sea scene on blue paper, and blue play dough with sea animals to press and make impressions, roll the dough, flatten the dough,

Colored water all week with bottles ,sea animal counters and cups

Memory matching cards at group time

Name the sea animals on the banner by placing the print on each animal when called

Make Ocean sea animal snack

Under the sea songs and movements

writing table with Octopus paper and alligator crayons

Throwing sponges at the wall
