This week in the infant classroom the theme is Fire Safety and Community helpers! We have explored quite a bit this week but here are a few of our favorites! The oldest infants are moving forward in their transition currently, but in the mornings after breakfast the group has loved listening to “Hurry Hurry Drive the Fire Truck!” and exploring community helper puppets such as police officers, fire men and nurses and doctors! This week we had a community guest, Maggie Rhodes Milo’s mom, in to the classroom to visit and play us music on her ukulele! It was a great time and we enjoyed sharing her love of music and learning about her instrument! The younger infants enjoyed moving soft transportation vehicles back and forth on the floor, and exploring those same community helper puppets as our one year old’s! It has been a great week but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time!
