Happy Halloween!

It has been a SUPER fun week with all the tricks and treats! We have been so busy with so many activities for the holiday. We made ghosts and drew pictures of us in our costumes. We used our small muscles to add spider rings to straws according to the number we rolled on the die. We kept busy in our own “pumpkin patch” by pulling pumpkins with letters written on them and then telling the letter, maybe giving a word or if we see that letter around the room. Our drama has been filled with witch hats, trick-or-treat bags and lots of “candy” to gather. Tuesday we got to go to the Great Room and make a special treat by Miss Brenda! We saw how much these friends like their chocolate! Their teachers sure do too! We had birthday celebration on Wednesday (Greta turned 4!) and then Thursday has been the best day EVER (or so they say!) We went trick-or-treating (and were so well behaved with manners) and then got to play lots of fun games in the Great Room with Miss Judy. We had a yummy snack and continued to party for the rest of the afternoon. Our science table held a giant pumpkin and we used Mr. Potato Head pieces to add to it. We have had so much fun with pumpkins these past several weeks. Ask your child what they learned or liked about pumpkins! We will wrap up our week with graphing our favorite candy and telling all about our night!
