Dr. Seuss Fun!

This week’s theme was Dr. Seuss. In language development, we read various books, wrote on hats with markers, wrote on clipboards with pencils, colored on paper with crayons, and drew on paper with red and blue markers. In math this week, and manipulated shape sorters.  In motor development this week, we walked across a balance beam, used tweezers to place pompoms into ice cube trays, walked across footprints, and placed stickers onto a poster board. In science this week, we compared pictures on the iPad to polaroid pictures, and made dry erase fish “swim” in water. In social and emotional development this week, we practice taking off and putting on our shoes, and we took turns picking up red and blue fish. In art this week, we glued red stripes onto a hat cutout, marble painted, painted with our feet, and painted a fishbowl cutout. Tomorrow we will, write underneath a table in language development, count and stack cups in math, play “Simon Says” in motor development, play a red fish, blue fish game in social studies, and paint with sponges in art.
