We introduced the theme with each picture of the Artist for the day, along with their name. I briefly described what they are known for painting/drawing and provided materials to represent their drawings and paintings.

Math
Geo boards with colored rubber bands to stretch and make colored patterns as the children work hard to wrap around each peg, Lily pads with numbers and dots to count, recognize number, name number they know and one-to- one with frog counters and dots on lily pads, Number foam puzzles to practice number recognition and place puzzle piece where it fits/belongs, scented paly-dough with small craft picks for counting, and Friday counting grid with markers to count and trace numbers.
Motor Development
Frogs on a log to practice balancing various size frogs on logs using fingers/hands/eye-hand coordination, magnet people to build/connect various pieces to make a magnet people, cottage houses with small people to manipulate and fit in houses, sand tray with with stars craft sticks for tracing in sand to make lines, marks and shapes.
