Lakewood Child Care Center’s exceptional teachers and staff members teach and care for our children in a stable, nurturing environment. Meet the individuals who may guide your children for years to come.
Administration

Holle, our Director, holds a master’s degree from the University of Dayton in early childhood administration and a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Ohio University. She has been with Lakewood Child Care Center since August 1994.

Judy, our Educational Coordinator, has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Ohio University. She has been with Lakewood Child Care Center since June 1993.
Infant

Danielle, the Lead Infant Teacher, has a bachelor’s degree in hearing and speech. Danielle has been with the center since August 2003.

Beth, an Assistant teacher in the Infant room, has her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Dayton. She joined our team in July 2014.

Ajia, an Assistant teacher in the Infant room, joined Lakewood Child Care Center in May 2019. She has her CDA and is working on her associate’s degree from University of Cincinnati.

Ta’Kiayah, an Assistant Teacher in the Infant room, joined LCCC in September 2024. She has experience from Lake Erie International High School in Early Childhood.
Young Toddler

Rasta, the Lead Young Toddler teacher, joined the center in September 2021. She has her associate’s degree in Early Child hood from Cuyahoga Community College.

Scooter, an Assistant teacher in the Young Toddler room, has a Bachelor’s degree in communications from Heidelberg University. She has child care experience as a camp counselor. Scooter has been with LCCC since June, 2024.
Older Toddler

Brenda, our Lead Older Toddler teacher, has her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Cincinnati. She has been with the center since August 1994.

Betsy, an Assistant Older Toddler teacher is working on her Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Cincinnati. She joined LCCC November 2022.

Allie, an Assistant Older Toddler teacher is new to child care. She started with LCCC January, 2025

Preschool

Natalie, the Lead Teacher in the Pre-school room, has her Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Cincinnati. She has been with the center since March 2001.

Juliana, an Assistant Teacher in Pre-school, has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Albania . She joined the center in September, 2025.

MaryClaire, an Assistant Teacher in Pre-School, has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Eastern Michigan University. She has been with us since April, 2026.
Pre-K

Tara, the Lead Pre-K teacher, has her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. She has been with Lakewood Child Care Center since September 1996.

Chasity, an Assistant teacher in Pre-K, has a bachelor’s degree from Baldwin Wallace University in exercise science and athletic training and holds her CDA. She joined the center in May 2017.
Pre-K2 and School Age

Michelle, the Lead Teacher in the Pre-K2 and School Age room, has a bachelor’s degree in education from Cleveland State University. She joined us in January 2021.
Additional Staff

Katie, a substitute teacher who also spent eight years at the center as a student, is working on her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education at Xavier University. She has worked at the center since June 2021.

Sherry, a substitute teacher, was our Kindergarten teacher from August 2007 until retirement; since then, she’s continued on as a substitute teacher.

Toni, a substitute teacher, works for Lakewood City Schools. She has been with us since December 2016.

Alana, a substitute teacher, is a student at Bowling Green University majoring in Human Development and Family Science. She has been with the Center since May, 2024.

Kylie, a substitute teacher, is a student at Ohio University majoring in Early Childhood Education. She began at the Center May, 2024.

Ms. Pat, our bus driver, has years of experience driving a school bus and working for the RTA. She started at the June, 2024.
