Throughout the year we offer programming for school-age students: a summer program for returning Lakewood Child Care Center students between the ages of 6 and 9 as well as care for children on Lakewood City Schools’ holidays.
Summer School-Age Program
SUMMER SCHOOL AGE FOR 2026 IS FULL!
From June through mid-August, children participate in camp-like activities and field trips, visiting local parks, museums, and other attractions. Sign-up is available for families at the beginning of the calendar year.
Families of enrolled students receive information and forms about field trips in May, prior to the start of the summer session, followed by a monthly and weekly calendar of events.
- For each week, you will need to pay a $25 security deposit that is non-refundable/non-transferable.
- If you need to cancel a day or week, it needs to be communicated to Holle by Monday, March 31, 2025 or you will need to pay for the day/week.
- $25 will be taken off the tuition for that week when billed.
- Tuition will be $225($250 – $25)/week for full-time (4 – 5 days) and $150($175 – $25)/week for part-time (2 – 3 days). This includes meals, field trips and transportation fees.
- Bus field trips are Wednesday and Fridays. Walking field trips and special events at the center are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Monday will be a water play day.
- If you want part time, please put the days in the comment box when registering.
- Your child must have completed Kindergarten or above to register.

Holiday Care
Lakewood Child Care Center offers care for returning students during Lakewood City Schools’ breaks and holidays. Sign-ups for the school year care are in late July/early August.
