This week in the infant classroom the theme is Valentine’s day and we have had a wonderful time. The group enjoyed quite a bit but here are a few of our favorites! Yesterday’s Valentine’s celebration was such fun. The younger infants practiced shaking small shakers to simple songs that centered on Valentines Day. The group even practiced their fine motor skills by “mailing” valentines through small box we made into a mail box! Three of our oldest infants were able to do chocolate dipping in the great room and make their own Valentines chocolate covered pretzel sticks! We also explored handled stamps, large foam blocks with different shapes on them and lots of fun Valentines themed sensory and hard books! It has been a great week but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time!
