We introduced the theme with a few well known Superheroes and some new ones with pictures, songs and stories.
Art
Tuesday- Super cuffs- glued glitter and lightening symbols
Wednesday- Superhero Cape- glued stars on red cape
Thursday- Spiderman hand prints and black yarn for webs
Friday- Captain American Shield Glued symbols
Math
counting bears by color, patterns by size(small, med, large) by lining up on same color paper as the bears, Bubble gum machine counting grid- count the bubble dots and match by putting a colored chip over the bubble gum ball, button grid board- match same color shapes to grid or same shapes different colors, Number foam puzzles to practice number recognition and count by pointing to each number.
Motor Development
Rubber band stretching activity- stretch the bands using both hands to place over the cups, star and sparklers sticks to poke into foam blocks to make them stand up, colored mountain small blocks to build/balance and organize by size, practice cutting with scissors, practice grip and steps to begin to cut paper or make slits.

Dinosaur capsules experiment- watch them expand
