We have had so much fun with all the Superhero books and stories this week. We learned about some new Superheroes and talked about ones we know and love (it sounds like Spiderman and Superman are some favorites!). For art, we have been working on some really cool capes so we can all become heroes with capes too! We will be doing a cutting activity on Friday to make paper buildings in squares and rectangles. We will then add a special addition to the sky! Be on the lookout for that in the front window! Our math has been busy with counting and adding Superheroes. We also played a math path game to get the Superhero to trouble to go save the people. Our science table has been busy with a scale to do some prediction and weighing. We will also do an experiment with a Superhero! Our language has been telling stories about if we were superheroes, what super power we would have and how we would use the power to help! The sensory bin was filled with shredded paper and lots and lots of Superheroes. We also started making our summer shirts on top of all the other fun stuff we have been doing all week! We have been busy, but having so much fun too!
