This week in the infant classroom the theme is superheroes! We have explored quite a bit but here are a few of our favorite moments from the week. The older infants continue their final week of transitioning before becoming official Young Toddlers! It is exciting to clap and give big hugs when our friends return, as well as talking with them about what they may have done and what they saw. Over in our room, we still have some younger one year olds, so we have had lunch outside and explored with our younger friends outside! The older two infants practiced stacking blocks while sitting at the low tables in chairs, as well as watching birds and squirrels come up to the window to the bird feeder! The entire group enjoyed reading small books, exploring career puppets and talking about superheroes like doctors or policemen! It has been a great week in the infant classroom, but we look forward to a new theme on Monday, and the start of new friends as well! Until next time!
