This week in the infant classroom the theme is Farm! We explored quite a few things but here are our crowd favorites! The entire group loved singing old mac Donald had a farm while we explored animal puppets. It was fun to listen to the real animal sounds on the Alexa! It caught our older infant’s attention when they heard the real “moo” of the cow and “oink” of the pig! We also explored colorful plastic farm animals and practiced counting them and sorting them by color with teachers as we explored! The group enjoyed exploring outside on the infant patio with plastic foods and talking about what we can grow on the farm! The younger infants also enjoyed putting felt farm animals on and off the large felt board as we talked about/ sang old McDonald! It has been a great week, but we look forward to mud day tomorrow and a new theme of America the Beautiful on Monday! Until next time!
