This week in the infant classroom the theme is Music! We have had a wonderful few day, but here are some of our favorite moments so far. The older infants loved playing a freeze dance game! It was fun to practice standing and bouncing/clapping to the music and to freeze with teachers when we paused the music. The group also enjoyed waving colorful scarves in the air to familiar music, while our younger infants smiled and kicked watching the scarves move! The group also enjoyed connecting different triangle shaped shakers together and taking them apart to see what types of sounds we could make. We also explored simple puzzles, jumbo peg boards and finger painting this week. It has been a great time exploring our music theme, but we look forward to a new theme on Monday! Until next time!
