This week’s theme was back to school. In language development this week, we read various books, wrote on boogie boards, wrote on notebook paper, wrote on chalkboards with chalk, and manipulated magnetic letters. In cognitive development this week, we matched school supply cutouts, sorted shapes in the shape sorter, did a color explosion science experiment, and sorted pencils by color. In motor development this week, we fill bags with various items, twisted and turns nuts and bolts, spun caterpillar gears, and manipulated pencils and play-doh. in art this week, we decorated lunchboxes, painted with apples, painted a crayon cutout, and painted a pencil cutout. We also started working on our paper Mache apples. Tomorrow we will, manipulate alphabet blocks in language development, match pairs of socks in cognitive development, manipulate dressing boards in motor development, and paint with school buses in art.
