Lakewood Child Care Center

This week’s theme was Five Senses! In language and literacy we drew on chalkboards, drew on smiles, colored eye shapes, and drew on boogie boards. In math, we sorted shapes, matched food with colored clips, and sorted felt boards. In fine and large motor, we did an obstacle course, fed a monster box food, explored with magnifying glasses on the patio, and manipulated bristle blocks. In social/emotional, we talked about sharing and taking turns and we rocked our baby dolls. In art, we played with instruments, stamped food sponges on plates, decorated eyes, and did roller shapes. Tomorrow, we will draw on nose cutouts, sort cupcake shapes, do a bike race, and draw with scented markers!
