Lakewood Child Care Center

This week’s theme was Spring! In language and literacy we drew chalk on the patio, colored butterfly cutouts, colored flower cutouts, and read Spring books. In math, we counted ducks, manipulated math tiles, counted lily pads, and matched flowers by colors. In motor, we hopped like a frog, put tickets in a jar, and stacked geometric blocks. In social/emotional, we made faces and labeled emotions, and read Llama Llama Time to Share. In art, we painted with forks, glued confetti on butterfly cutouts, painted paper plates to look like bugs, and stamped spring shapes on paper. Tomorrow, we will play with felt boards, sort fruits and vegetables, have a bunny hop race, and have music day!
