Wednesday in art the children glued together the parts of a flower and in math the children added raindrops to a rain cloud using subitize cards. In language he children engaged in a duck position word activity. With this activity the children were directed to put their duck on the pond, next to the pond, under the pond, jump it over the pond, and all other direction and position words. Today in art the children painted with broccoli! In math the children worked with umbrella 1 to 1 correspondence grids and colored gems. In language the children practiced writing and tracing spring words. The fine motor activity today was picking up pom poms with tweezers and putting them into cups. Tomorrow in art the children will explore symmetry art and in math the children will work with number sense raindrops, matching raindrops by the number of ten frames to match the number raindrop.
