Lakewood Child Care Center

This week’s theme was America the Beautiful! In language and literacy we did a picture scavenger hunt, played with boogie boards, played with alphabet blocks, and saved alphabet magnets. In math, we sorted star blocks and ounted felt triangles. In motor, we had cars on the patio, we made a Great American Melting pot with state shapes and cultural figurines, and played with a rainbow caterpillar. In art, we decorated flags, stamped with ink pads, and put red and yellow paint on hamburger cutouts! Tomorrow, we will celebrate the Fourth of July in the parade!
