Lakewood Child Care Center

This week’s theme was Construction! In language and literacy, we played with letter and number magnets, traced letters with bingo daubers, and scribbled on magnet boards. In math, we matched up dinosaurs with their houses and sorted tool bags and tools by color. In motor, we played with cones and cars outside, we played with toy tools, drills, and hammers with blocks, and we stacked gem blocks. In art, we used trucks to paint, we made “blueprints” with Legos, and we made caution tape art. Tomorrow, we will dig for pictures in our sensory bin, count trucks, do construction yoga poses, and decorate paper cones!
