The theme was introduced with pictures and print of families, we named the family members and talked about are own families.

Monday-House
Tuesday-Letter “F” for family- decorated with various materials
Wednesday- decorated feast headbands- colored/stickers
Thursday-Family photo frame-painted
Friday- Handprints with dye cut words spelling family
Math
Finger puppets for counting as the children place them on their fingers, colored bears/various sizes to arrange them by size or group by color, made pumpkin mousse for feast(-measuring, mixing, pouring and mixing), matching colored people cards by same color and pairing them together.
Motor Development
Rainbow people connectors push and pull apart to connect, Q-tips and colanders to poke and push through the holes, bubble wrap for popping and graham crackers in baggies for smashing for pumpkin mousse, large colored button drop with containers with lids/slits and lacing animal cards with pipe cleaners and shoes strings.
