It has been a week of talking about friends and what we do with friends. The children have engaged in a friend’s bingo game, a fruit counter sorting activity, and explored working with tower builders in math. In language the children engaged in an I Spy game needing to find specific items on their playing board, they dictated why friends are special, and they will string letters this afternoon. At the art table this week we followed the children’s lead and they wanted to draw with stencils, and work with play dough. Yesterday the children painted with scrunched paper and today was a free day as the children went swimming! In the sensory table the children worked with scissors and paper for some cutting practice. It has been a busy and fun week in preschool!
