This week the children the children listened to stories and engaged in activities about the rainforest. In art this week the children finger painted, they painted a paper plate green to make a snake with, today they explored watercolor painting and tomorrow they will do some cutting and gluing., In langue the children engaged in an ABC bingo game, they practiced writing their name and rainforest words and tomorrow they will dictate what they would see in the rainforest. In math the children matched butterflies by their patterns, played a rainforest bingo game and today they were interested in doing puzzles. Tomorrow they will practice color patterning with animal counters. In the sensory table the children explored rainforest animals with noodles, tongs and ice cube trays. In the block area we added tree ring blocks for more creativity.,
