It has been a colorful week with activities this week. In math this week the children explored a colorful shape concentration game, they learned how to, and played Candyland, 1 to 1 grids with shapes and a fun mouse color game for Friday! The children continue to show interest in puzzles so there was a day of just puzzle play in math. In language the children explored some pre-writing skills to trace shapes, they matched brown letters to a brown lettered square, some more letter writing practice on Thursday and Friday they will string colorful letters. In art the children water bottle painted white paint on black paper, they painted with blue star cutters in blue paint on light blue paper, and painted with cups in red paint on pink paper. Thursday they explored cutting and gluing different shapes of blue to glue and Friday they will do some fly swatter painting. The children are enjoying seeing their friends pictures of their houses and its fun to hear a little bit about what they like to do at home.
