This week’s theme was senses. We learned all about our five semses and used them throughout the week. In language, we read various books relating to our senses, colored on paper with crayons and scented markers, and played with magnet letters. In math and science, we sorted animal stencils, played with math tiles and shape cupcakes and magnet rods and buckets. In motor development, we stacked wood samples and played with puzzles. In art this week, we painted with our sunglasses on, painted with kool-aid, glued materials that can be tasted on a tongue, and made a texture collage. We also did a popcorn activity where we used all our five senses as we popped popcorn. Tomorrow we will play with alphabet blocks, count with vegetable counters, string cheerios, and do marble painting.
